Boogedy-booogedy, I'm a gonna eat ya!!! Read the following letter to the Editor from the local excuse for a newspaper: Halloween is no treat! To The Editor: How I long for the beautiful fall season to reflect wholly on the loveliness of coloured leaves, pumpkins, apples, strolls on crisp autumn days -- of life! Halloween with its witches and occult practices has spoiled the season and is a bridge between good and evil. Surely there is fun in going door to door getting apples and sweets, but Halloween is much more than that. It is a celebration of the occult with its emphasis on death and evil. Have you seen children backing away from the door or the store decorations, scared and insecure of the skeletons, demonic-looking creatures, witches, etc.? In Moscow, just a few years ago, a letter was sent to school authorities to warn teachers that "The very fact that Halloween activities contain elements such as the cult of death, rejecting death, personification of death and evil spi...

I think a lot of us down east would rather NOT support the Irvings, unfortunately they own so much out here, that its hard not to. Newspapers, courier, bus service, building supplies, tissue paper, plastics, trucking, -- the oil is just the tip of the iceberg Last I heard 1 in 8 people in N.B. work for this greedy monopoly I was sick when I saw this on the news last night.I am relieved to hear that the colony itself has re-located. Great blue herons might not be on the endangered species yet, but its behaviour like this which leads to species becoming endangered. And Irving just says, oh well, another $60,000 tax write off...

Oh my..oh hee-hee-hee--oh, what a hoot! Isn't this another case of money talks, bullshit walks?? Or maybe you'll see it flapping in the breeze on your neighbor's clothesline? Sometime, somehow, those of the almighty-mucky-muck, perhaps in Ottawa, (perhaps in Rosedale) deemed THE SIGHT OF clean laundry hanging outside offensive. Clean laundry must not be seen in public, an obsene practice -- it must be banned so as not to offend. Never mind that using AIR to dry laundry has been done since Adam and Eve had to rinse out their fig leaves... But wait !!! Electricity and oil have gone up in price. Being environmentally aware is trendy. Saving money might even be trendy now...(I'll have to look into that one, that requires further study!) Yes, people in Ontario are allowed to hang their laundry in public once again!! ..no more underground laundry air-drying over the backs of chairs... ...No more desperate foiled attempts of setting up wire clothes racks in the basement nex...

Just now while watching the CBC News, I learned the Pentagon has commanded a U.S. Navy ship will shoot down a failed National Reconnaisance Office spy satellite. We don’t know much about the satellite except it was launched on December 14, 2006, it failed several hours after entering orbit and was apparently designed with the ability for a controlled de-orbit, but since control has been lost, that is not an option ! According to the experts, about half of the 5000-pound satellite would survive atmospheric re-entry. With a full tank of noxious hydrazine rocket fuel aboard (!) Anyone within two football field’s distance would be sickened by the fumes. "The U.S. Navy will fire one SM-3 missile from a ship in an effort to hit the satellite just as it grazes the atmosphere. By waiting until it is just about to re-enter before blasting it, they intend for most of the debris to quickly fall out of orbit and burn up … most of it within hours, almost all of it within days or weeks. This...
