And the French/English thing rages on!!!
This one is downright STUPID however!!
Oh for pete's sakes, CBC, you publish bad grammar, bad spelling, and accusatory comments all the time, yet you censor one of my comments that just states the plain truth anyone can see in black and white on this page.
Suppose the censor is Acadian too? And speaks English just as well as I do?
Quote Carrier from the above ---"He said those people would change their tune if they were trying to get help and had no idea what was going on."
The difference is SHE DID KNOW. She spoke English on the radio. I heard her. She spoke it as well as an English born person would!
"Carrier said it's not fair to say people should just be grateful to get medical care, regardless of what language it's in."
In this case yes it is!
Did he even read the details of the circumstances that evening? Their usual doctor wasn't available so they called someone else in TO COVER FOR THEM. It was either English speaking doctor, or NO DOCTOR and a CLOSED emergency room!!
*UGH* This is making me so angry!!

And how the hell can Michel Carrier be an unbiased Commissioner of Bilingualism when he's a freakin Frenchman!
